Performance

Polytropic Head and Polytropic Efficiency curves for each compression section are used by the program to compare actual field test data to expected performance.  Therefore, the compression sectional curves must be entered before performance data can be evaluated by the program.  The manufacturer-supplied sectional polytropic head and polytropic efficiency curves can be entered directly into the program.  The program allows for input of up to 15 data points from the performance curve.  The program plots the performance curve as shown below.

You can add points, change points, and delete points until you are satisfied with the plotted points and the shape of the performance curve.

Once you are satisfied with the performance curve, you can save it for use when analyzing field performance data.
